Clothing Production Timeline: From Tech Pack to Bulk Delivery

Why the Timeline Matters

A clear production timeline helps brands plan launch dates, control cash flow and avoid paying for avoidable delays. When each stage has a checkpoint, problems are caught while they are still cheap to fix.

Stage 1: Tech Pack and Fabric Confirmation

We confirm the design, measurements, fabric, GSM, color, trims and labels before sampling. Missing details at this stage usually cause the most expensive changes later.

Stage 2: Sampling and Revisions

A physical sample normally takes 7–10 days. If the sample needs revision, each round adds time, so clear feedback and photos help keep the schedule under control.

Stage 3: Fabric Sourcing and Bulk Production

Bulk lead time depends on product type, fabric, quantity and decoration. Reorders with an approved sample and stored fabric records usually move faster than first-time development.

Stage 4: Quality Control and Packing

We inspect stitching, measurements and finishing against the approved sample, then pack according to your labels, hangtags and packaging requirements. Photos can be provided before dispatch.

Common Delays and How to Avoid Them

• Incomplete tech pack: confirm fabric, size chart, colors and trims early.
• Late sample approval: give clear pass/fail comments with measurements or photos.
• Fabric changes after sampling: avoid switching GSM or construction after sign-off.
• Packaging and label changes: lock these before bulk starts.
• Holiday or freight peaks: confirm the shipping route in advance.
